A fragmented skull floats in space. Cards hover in front of it, loosely aligned with its former features. The scene is open to interpretation—suggesting a ritual, or an inner map of meaning.

More Info
Though the skull is hollow, its surroundings pulse with presence. Cards suspended in air mark where features once were: one placed at the eye socket reveals an iris, another near the forehead releases a cephalopod arm. From another card, a snake flicks its tongue, and a fox leaps through yet another. A hand extends a fishing rod, dangling the inner ear’s balance organ. Symbols drift between biological and mythical, anchored in dream logic.
The Full Story
Pieces reflects on identity and the body as a collage of impulses, memory, and invention. The skull is emptied of its contents, yet each hovering card contributes a substitute: a sense, a creature, a gesture. A fetus rests in a womb-shaped space above. A crescent moon, placed in the upper window, echoes the shape of the letter “E”—a silent sign, present in nearly every drawing. Within this symbol, a small clock shows only a minute hand pointing at the five, representing 25 minutes—a subtle reference to the year 2025. The piece holds space between death and transformation, mapping what’s missing through fragments that insist on meaning.
